Dual Baptism

My daughter and her cousin were both baptized at the same time which doubled our fun. I created this sweet invitation to invite close friends and family to the festivities. This would be good for twins and could even be made into a birthday invitation by putting a number in place of the cross. One picture could also be used in color or black and white.

Its a surprise graduation party!

These parents wanted to surprise their grad with a party to celebrate the end of her schooling with a big party. This two sided invitation is a fun way to show off pictures of the guest of honor as she has grown up. (she can kill ya later!) Even without the mortar board these invitations would be fun party invites.

Coming Attractions Bridal Shower

Now available on my Etsy Site!

For this future Mr. & Mrs. Smith, it was just too perfect to create an invite that played off the famous movie. Remember this one?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0356910/?ref_=nv_sr_1

This is perfect for a couples shower or even for the bridal shower like this one was. Not going to be a Smith? Well it would still work for other last names as well.

Baby Announcements - Ty

Another z-fold announcement for Ty's happy arrival into the world. Ty's nursery is all out nautical themed and his mom wanted that to be displayed in his birth announcement. We have sailboats, life preservers, oars and rope. No missing the theme here. I matched the colors to his cute little outfit on the front cover.

In addition to the birth announcement I also designed a coordinating invitation for a Sip and See party and personalized stationery for Ty (okay for Mom) to write thank you notes on.

a z-fold is a great way to show the siblings together

don't forget the notecards!

Birth Announcement - Emerson

Its Baby Announcement week at the rkDesigns blog!

I designed these cute baby announcements for Emerson's arrival into the world. Not only does this family have a new baby, but they moved at the same time. They wanted to make both announcements to family and friends at the same time. This z-fold announcement is a perfect design for when you have more than one thing to announce or to show off all the siblings at once.

This picture of Hudson was too cute! We had to make it the focus of this simple birth announcement.

What's Black & White and Red all Over?

No, not a zebra with a sunburn! (sorry for the bad joke) Its the invitations I did for Allison & Charlie's May wedding! She was using red as an accent color for her wedding and wanted that portrayed in her invitations. I designed for her this scrolling design to cascade down the side of the invitation and which would be a key feature in all the pieces of the stationery suite.

Below are her invitation, front of RSVP postcard, Thank You card with photo and photo announcment. All were printed on a fine soft-white card stock with matching addressed envelopes.
Are you having a special event coming up or know somebody who does?! I help customize invitations to each customer so that you have a look that's totally your own. Traditional, modern or elegant - bring it to me and we'll get your personal masterpiece created!

Save the Dates - Meaghan & Andrew

Meaghan and Andrew are getting married this summer in the 1,000 Islands region of New York. Their color palette is going to be Robin's Egg Blue and Poppy and they also wanted to see images of the region like Adirondack Chairs, herons and the boats that traverse the waters around the islands.
Remember I can change any invite to the colors of YOUR wedding!

Save the Dates - Alicia & Ryan

Alicia and Ryan are getting married in beautiful Booth Bay Harbor, Maine this fall. Their colors are going to be blue and chocolate so they wanted to see some options with those colors and also with some images of the northern ocean that they will be married on.

We ended up putting the accomodations information on the back as well as attaching a small round sticker that her guests can place on their calendar to help Save the Date!!
