Allison & Adam - Pink and Black

For Allison & Adam's wedding last summer I created a pocketfold invitation that was simple and elegant and exactly what they wanted. This was an extra large pocketfold that played off their fuschia and black color combination they had chosen for the wedding. The invitation itself was simple and was accented by a strip of ribbon running down the one side. The informational inserts stepped down in size to show the heading of each and included a custom map.

(looking at these pictures has given me a new New Year's resolution - to figure out how to set up my own photo shoot! I apologize for the not so stellar pics - I am a better designer than a photographer!)

T-Shirt Design

In a month, I am headed down to New Orleans to run the Mardi Gras marathon with a group of my friends. In total there will be 15 of us there to either run or support the runners. I designed us a shirt to rally us on to a successful completion of either 26.2 or 13.1.

The text below the fleur de lis says - "Forget the medals...show me your beads!"

I had these printed on both technical dry-fit shirts for the runners and cotton pre-shrunk shirts for our supporters. I'll try to post a follow up picture of all of us at the finish line wearing our shirts.

Jenny J Cook Events Logo Design

Jenny Cook has started her wedding/event planning business in Charlotte, NC. She is a fun and modern type of girl and wanted her business and logo to reflect that. Black, yellow and gray are her favorite colors and she wanted those as well as her signature asterisk incorporated into the look.

I also designed some business cards for her...

Little Pumpkin Baby Shower

This is actually a baby shower that I hosted for my friend, Tara, last fall. Personally I can't think of a better theme for an October shower than Welcome Little Pumpkin. It was so fun to be able to work the lively color palette into everything. We used lime green, purple, orange and then black and white. Here are some pictures of the printed creations I made for the party as well as some of the decorations...

the invitations were in a gatefold folder closed with a black and white ribbon

the beverage center including pumpkins that spelled out baby

I created this poster out of baby pictures that the guests provided to me - we called it "who's that girl"

I created this poster that had the baby-to-be's last name highlighted in the alphabet, there was another poster with BABY highlighted.

place setting at the table - wrapped the silverware in the napkin and closed the packet up with scrapbook paper and a label that said "Little Pumpkin". The favors were baby bottles filled with candy corn that also had labels with "Tara's Shower" and the date written on them.

Passport to Love

All aboard for a wedding trip of a lifetime! This couple is always on the go - America, Europe, Asia and everywhere in between. They wanted wedding invitations that set the tone for a global celebration. In comes the Wedding Passport. The invitation itself was set up in a passport booklet form and the response was a postcard with an air mail feel.

When you opened the booklet, on the left was the information page featuring a picture of the couple and important wedding date details.

On the right hand side was the actual invitation...

Subsequent pages featured information about the reception and accommodations as well as directions.

It was all tied together with a white ribbon.

If you have a destination wedding in mind or want to add a global flair to your wedding these are a perfect fit!
